BEFORE TREATMENT
Reverse painted glass globe, approximately five inches in diameter. The globe was broken into five pieces plus one shard. In addition, the two larger pieces had stress cracks, the longest being approximately four inches.

Secured stress cracks and reconstructed the globe using Hxtal NYL-1, allowing to set for forty eight hours.

Two interior shards were missing, causing an interruption to the painted surface. This was inpainted using Primal WS-24 and dry pigments. The inpainting was performed post reconstruction, gaining access to the interior via the pre-existing hole in the bottom of the globe.
